Bath Christmas Market Heaven!

Hooray...we've been busy kitting out our stall in the Bath Christmas Market and it is now full to the brim with our most incredible LED Glowlights....Lizzy looks like a fairy in the midst of heaps of gorgeousness! We LOVE the market...it makes us feel like Christmas is almost upon us...Bath comes to life, with carol singers, mulled wine, Victorian Carousels and, this year, new Street decorations which will be turned on by the very handsome Nicholas Cage!

If you get the chance, come and visit...and bring us some mulled wine!

Lots of love,
Dawn, Iris, Wendi, Lizzy, and Ali xx

Winners!

Exciting times here at My Small World! We were very proud to win the Bath Retailer of The Year Award 2009 at the prestigious Bath Life Awards...a nod to the brightest and best businesses in the Bath area! The award is all the more special because the shortlist is voted for by the public - a ringing endorsement of the passion and effort made by our fantastic little team!

Judges commented on our exceptional staff, the quality of our service and the fabulous relationships we have built with our customers....they were most impressed by the fact that The My Small World team test drive all the toys before they go on sale, and know the thousands of products we stock inside and out! (Little do they know that this is far from a chore..its one of the best bits of having a toy store and being able to play all day long!)

So a big thankyou to all our customers, the many, many of you who voted around the country, and to our wonderful suppliers...here's to a fantastic run up to Christmas (although we aren't really mentioning it yet!!!)

Easter Gorgeousness!

With our store closed on Easter Sunday, we took time out with our friends India, Poppy, Alexander and Kara to revel in the easter good weather, and do what all families should...eat, drink and be merry! Balloons tied to trees filled with a couple of little eggs created challenges for the littlies, and a 3ft high papier mache egg made for messy fun...and testing times for washing machines. Best of all was hitching a ride on Nick's vintage tractor..the purchase of a trailer filled with hay and cushions made for memories to last for ever....watch out lambs!
